The Buttery offers sixteen bedrooms. Spacious and airy, decorated in a simple, neutral style with light colours, some with original features such as fireplaces. All of our duluxe and superior rooms have panoramic views of Broad Street, while others are at the rear of the hotel and most look out onto Ship Street buildings. All our rooms have modern ensuite bathrooms installed since 2021.

Contact us directly for the best rates. All prices include taxes. We provide ensuite room only accommodation in the heart of the city centre. We are lucky that on our door step there are several pleasant establishments serving breakfast. Our reception staff are happy to recommend local eateries.
Access to our accommodation is gained through the red door between Oxford Campus Stores and Oxford Buttery Store.
Our reception desk is located on the first floor and accessed up a flight of stairs.
All rooms are on the first, second and third floors of our guest accommodation and due to the historic nature of this listed building we do not have an elevator. Visitors with limited mobility may find access to our rooms unsuitable.
In line with the Oxford City Council’s carbon reduction scheme, we have no private parking facilities. We recommend the use of the City’s park and ride sites.
The premises, in line with UK legislation, is non-smoking.
